Alcoeur Gardens  COVID-19

New Visitation Policy

As set forth by The State of New Jersey Department of Health and Governor Phillip

Murphy’s Executive Order dated June 1, 2021

We are happy to announce that we will begin launching limited visitation at Alcoeur Gardens. We have had to revise our visitation guidelines due to the COVID-19 outbreak, so please read carefully.

● Limited indoor visitation according to New Jersey State guidelines.

● Restrooms will not be available at this time for visitors.

● There will be a seating area provided outside for your use, weather permitting.

● You must arrive on time and remain in your car until a staff member comes to you.

  1. All visitors; whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, are asked to have their temperature checked prior to visit as well as complete a COVID questionnaire.

  2. Upon arrival and departure of their visit, residents and visitors are encouraged to use hand sanitizer to reduce the spread of infection.

  3. Indoor visits: Indoor visitation can only occur in facilities where there is a mechanism to collect informed consent from the resident and visitors, there is a designated location for indoor visitation, the facility has sufficient staff and sufficient PPE and cleaning and disinfection supplies to permit safe visitation.

    1. Visitation for all residents; vaccinated or unvaccinated may be up to a maximum of 1 hour per visit.  Visitors may visit at any time during the hours of 10AM and 4PM, 7 days a week.  While keeping this in mind we do ask families to call ahead to Alcoeur Gardens at least 24 hours prior to visit so we can accomodate and arrange the designated and appropriate areas to keep all loved ones safe and families in different designated areas; i.e. resident rooms.

    2. We ask families to keep the number of visitors to a manageable number (2-3 guests) so we can maintain distance between multiple families in the community.

    3. If both the visitor and resident are fully vaccinated, residents and their visitors may choose to have close contact including touching and removing their facemasks if they are alone in the resident's room or the designated visitation room.

    4. Fully vaccinated residents may choose to have close contact including touching with their unvaccinated visitor, however the both must wear well-fitting face masks.

  4. Outdoor visits: Outdoor visitation for all residents; vaccinated or unvaccinated may be up to a maximum of 1 hours per visit.  Visitors may visit at any time during the hours of 10AM to 4PM, 7 days a week.  While keeping this in mind we do ask families to call ahead to Alcoeur Gardens at least 24 hours prior to visit so we can accomodate and arrange the designated and appropriate areas to keep all loved ones safe and families in different designated areas; i.e. in resident's rooms.  Outdoor visits may have more than 2-3 visitors per residents.
