Event Specifics
Walk to Fight Alzheimer's® check in is in the Municipal Parking Lot at the corner of Arnold & Baltimore Ave. in Point Pleasant Beach on Saturday, September 23, 2017 starting at 8:30am. After you register come and to Alcoeur Garden's table to have pre-walk snacks, take photos, and socialize. The Kickoff Rally starts at 9:30 am and the walk begins at 10am. Rain or Shine. The route is 2.6 miles.
Parking is available in a municipal parking lot at Arnold & Ocean Avenues along with street parking. Parking meters will be in effect. There are also non-metered parking spots on certain residential streets nearby. Dogs on a leash are allowed in the Municipal parking lot where festivities are held, but not permitted on the Pt. Pleasant Beach boardwalk. Please keep in mind that most of the walk route is on the boardwalk. After you return from walking, please come back to table to have post-walk snacks, and enjoy the entertainment and raffle prizes.
