Alcoeur Apron's Patriotic Flag Fruit Platter
1 pint blackberries or blueberries
1 bunch red grapes
1 Golden Delicious apple
1 quart strawberries
1/4 seedless watermelon
1 Granny Smith apple
1 pound red cherries
Slice the bananas and toss with a little lemon juice. Do the same with the apples.
Cut the watermelon into 2 inch cubes.
Arrange the blackberries/blueberries in the top corner in the shape of a rectangle. Starting at the top, arrange the grapes, apples, strawberries, banana, watermelon, apple, and cherries in horizontal strips to form the stripes of the American flag.
Serve immediately or cover and store refrigerated for up to 48 hours.
